Empowering leaders for a sustainable world
A project of a SEDTalks.com and the SED sustainable business network. We face increasing challenges and major disruption from global warming and its human and societal impacts. To flourish and lead in this new environment requires resilience, mental toughness, compassion, empathy and an ability to inspire and empower.
SED Groups aim to equip people with the new knowledge and skills needed to recognize, confront and respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities of building sustainable environments and economies.
SED Groups will focus on: building resilience, mental toughness and an ability to perform under pressure; and developing leaders equipped to deal with the new sustainability agenda.
Denis McCarthy is the Principal SED Group manager and group facilitator of the Fremantle group. Each SED Group meets regularly (fortnightly or monthly) at a mutually convenient time and day and groups live on as long as members decide.
A SED Group Orientation is held on the first Saturday of each month and the next will be on Saturday, 6 July 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:55 am (AWST) in Fremantle, WA. Attendance is free but requires pre-registration at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/sed-group-tickets-63166837712 .
